Healthy Connections and Healthy Boundaries
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, you are probably a person with a lot of empathy. When you are someone who has a lot of empathy it can sometimes be difficult to learn how to have both healthy connections and healthy boundaries. Yet, both are required in order to enjoy your life and not burn out as a caring, empathic person. Empathy increases our ability to feel exquisite joy and deep connection to life. It also increases your capacity to feel everything else – which can include pain, confusion, frustration, and fear.
