Reaching Out to Adult Alienated Children

Dana Laquidara is an award winning  writer whose  work has appeared in The Huffington Post, Mamalode, Literary Mama, Brain Child Magazine, Boston Mamas,  The Grub Daily, and Spirituality & Health Magazine.

Dana has participated in several Boston Moth storytelling events. She took first place while performing a piece from her memoir-in-progress. The theme was Adventure, and she told of going to visit her mother as a teen, after a decade of no contact.

Her topics speak to the heart and include wellness, creativity, parenting, simplifying and healing old wounds, all of which she has found to be interwoven.  She speaks from experience about parental alienation in order to raise awareness and support parents and children who are caught in this devastating aftermath of a volatile divorce.

Dana’s degrees are in Education and Holistic Health Studies. Prior to forging her path as a writer, she taught elementary school and then adult yoga. She and her husband raised three wonderful daughters, a task she often reflects upon in her writing. Still an avid yogi and a lifelong student of personal growth, she resides in Massachusetts with her family.
