Walk Across Borders – Awareness of Parental Child Abduction / Alienation

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On August 23rd 2015, I will be starting an extremely testing challenge to raise awareness of Parental Child Abduction, Alienation and retention and also to show the extremes that a parent will go for their child.

I have always said that I would walk to see my child if I had to.. So that is exactly what I intend to do

Parents often try over and over to go through the correct court proceedings in both the habitual residence of the child and the country of abduction but are let down repeatedly. My own experiences and the experiences of many other target parents have prompted me to take a different approach.

In 2014, the reunite international child abduction centre UK charity reported over 17,000 calls through their advice line. Yes… 17,000 !

When you consider the size of the country, the size of the charity itself, I’m sure you can understand that this is just a tip of the iceberg as their main focus is international child abduction and retention issues..

Many other parents and children are alienated from each other without abduction.. Children are being emotionally abused by people that they should be able to trust the most… They go under the name of “parent”
